In early April, a letter about school physicals was mailed to parents. This is a great opportunity for your child to get an inexpensive physical. The school physical meets the requirements for sports. In addition, all incoming 7th grade students must have an up-to-date physical and immunizations. The school physical meets the physical requirement for 7th grade. If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, physicals must be turned in by this Thursday. Please contact the middle school office at 432-0708 with questions.

5th-8th grade students will take the Nebraska State English Assessment tomorrow. The entire school will test from 8:00-10:00. 5th/6th grade lunch is 11:33-12:13 and 7th/8th lunch is 12:16-12:56.

Dear Parents and Families: This week is the Spring Middle School Concert! The students are excited to share their songs with you. Spring concerts differ from fall and winter concerts as the MS and HS students will have their concerts on different nights. Here is the information about the MS concert. *Please note the time has been moved to 6p.m. and the concert should take less than a hour. Date and Time: Thursday (April 17) @ 6p.m. Where: The HS auditorium *Students need to check in with Dr. Dressel in the band room @ 5:45

We are conducting a scheduled Lockdown Drill at this time. We may be unavailable to answer the phone for a few minutes. 'Lockdown' is a command used to announce a potential threat inside the building. We practice these drills twice each year. 5th and 8th grade students will take the state science assessment tomorrow morning, 4/9. Testing will begin after morning announcements. Testing days work best when students are on time to school and well rested. 8th graders will report to their 2nd period classrooms at 8:00 AM for testing. 5th graders will report to their 1st period classrooms.

CMS has a 12:00 dismissal this Friday, March 28th, to host our home Quiz Bowl meet. There is no Academic Recovery on that day. The Quiz Bowl meet begins at 12:30 and the public is welcomed to attend. Please use the main entrance on the northeast side of the building if you plan to attend.
