We'd like students at the band hall at 5pm to prepare. Students may stay at the band hall after school leading to the concerts!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Students may dress up, like picture day, or in something festive! It is recommended that students stay after school at the band hall to prepare for the concert. Directors will lead each band to the MS gym at 4:30pm. Music will begin right at 5:00pm!

7th & 8th grade parents! Be on the lookout for this letter. We have 36 students signed up to audition for the MS All-Region Band this Saturday.

The Band Hall will be open later for students (7th-12th grade) to prepare for All-Region Band Auditions. Students can work together and get help from their directors. The Band Hall will be open until 4:30pm 11/18/24 - 11/21/24 & 12/2/24 - 12/6/24

It’s that time of year!! The South Plains fair will be open September 19th-28th! The New Deal band boosters has a food stand called the Lions Den! Here is the link to sign up to work the Lions Den! Online Sign ups are open now until Saturday, September 14th. We will have our normal clean up day, slice and dice, and close down. Please remember that this is our biggest fundraiser of the year. A summer band trip is currently being planned for our High school band students for the Summer of 2025! This is a GREAT opportunity to earn funds towards your child’s trip!! High school and middle school band members/ families are encouraged to work a shift at the fair! We are excited to have a great fair season! A few friendly reminders: -No kids under 16 are allowed in the kitchen. -Only adults are allowed to use the fryers. -Closed toe shoes are required. -We will do our best to give 15 minute breaks during your shift. If your student is using a school-owned instrument, they need to complete their School-Issued Instrument Agreement ASAP. We are still missing a few.

Reminder: We have an instrument drive today at the band hall! This will last from the end of the school day to 6:30pm. This is for any band student, HS or MS, that is still needing an instrument or looking to upgrade a beginner instrument to something nicer. Music & Arts will also have great deals on accessories and beginner books!
