2025 MDC Families

We wanted to take a moment to send out a big THANK YOU to our Mendham Day Camp Families for another FANTASTIC summer! Unfortunately we will not be rescheduling our After Dark event, however, the drive in movie has been rescheduled. Please see the flyer attached for more details. If your camper has misplaced any of their belongings throughout camp, they can be found at the Bowers building where they will be held for approximately two weeks. If you have not already picked up your child's medications, they will also be at the Bowers building for pick up. Any questions regarding lost and found or medication pick up can be directed to the Recreation Coordinator, Aubrey (aegerter@mendhamnj.org). While our 2025 season has officially come to a close, our directors have already been hard at work planning our 2026 season! Our 2026 Weekly Themes Sneak Peek can be found below or on our website. Good Morning Families and Happy Last Day of Camp! Today campers will be engaging in a game of quidditch! We will also be announcing the Color Wars Winner for the 2025 Camp season! See you all soon!

Due to the pending forecast and flash flood advisory in affect for our area this evening, we will be canceling our After Dark event. Please check our social media page tomorrow for a Color Wars Winner announcement!

Good Morning Families! We have a lot going on today! K-3 will be engaging in a color wars game of pin the tail on the Dragon as a last chance to earn points for your color wars team, while 4-6 will be taking a walking field trip to the Pastime Lanes to go bowling! TONIGHT: Our Mendham Day Camp After Dark event will take place from 7:30-8:30 at the Borough Park. Campers, friends, and family will be able to play carnival style games to ear tickets for a drawing to win a FREE week of Camp for our 2026 season. We will also be announcing the winner of Color Wars! Following After Dark, Mendham Recreation will host a Drive in Movie, Wicked! This is an event that you will not want to miss! Reminder that all minors must be accompanied by an adult at our After Dark event. We hope to see you there! Due to the heat advisory again today we have decided to take extra precautions by providing all campers with a designated time to cool off in the Garabrant Center for arts and crafts! Campers will all still have the opportunity to enter the bounce house brought to us by Luck Star Amusements. Please make sure to send your camper with lots of water, a snack, and a bathing suit. Stay cool today!

Good morning, Families! Due to the heat advisory today we have decided to take extra precautions by modifying our daily events. Our K and 1 campers will not be attending the library today, instead all campers will have a designated time to cool off in the Garabrant Center for arts and crafts as well as a read aloud for our youngest campers! Campers will all still have the opportunity to participate in our treasure hunt activity. Please make sure to send your camper with lots of water, a snack, and a bathing suit. Stay cool today!

Happy Friday! Today's special event is an Escape Room! We are carefully monitoring the heat advisory and will be encouraging hydration, shade, and water games throughout the day. In addition to the Escape room the Fire Department will be coming to cool down our campers with their firefighting sprinkler system! Please be sure to send your camper with plenty of water, a snack, and a bathing suit!

Good morning, families! Today campers will put their engineer skills to the test to compete to build the tallest tower! The team with the tallest standing tower will receive Color Wars points for their team color! TODAY IS ALSO THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER for week 6! See you all soon!
